Re: Junkers JU88 loss on 21.07.1943

Hi Kurtl12,

I do not known where those two locations are. Those both have ´Germanic´ place-names. The first is ´light crash´ but the other could have left some debris. Other Ju 88 or 188´s (on same day) do not appear to be central Europe, are either on Eastern, Southern or Western Fronts. Hope this helps.

088 0875 Ju 88 D-2 FAG 101 (Lw.Befh.Mitte)
Non-OPS (S) engine failure and belly landed (30%) at Konradswaldau 21.07.1943 (rep as D2 0875 in LWFLS losses)

088 300041 Ju 88 A-4 II/KG 54 (Lw.Befh.Mitte)
Non-OPS (H) pilot error and crashed (100%) at Frankenfels 21.07.1943 (F Uffz. Erich Richter, B Obgefr. Heinz Thomig, BF Gefr. Hellfried Müller and BS Gefr. Gottfried Leister killed)

cheers
