The W.Nr. is quoted as W.Nr.3523, which it says was built as an E-1 by Arado GmbH at Warnemunde in 9.39. It goes on to say that it was known to have flown in the French Campaign and the Battle of Britain, but gives no unit or details. I assume that as one strips down through the layers of paint, its previous unit ID and markings would be visible. Does anyone know anything more about the 1940 history of this aircraft, and what markings it may have carried at that time?

Larry, can you please share the photo from the magazine with us?
