Leo Lightfoot (WOp/AG), New Zealander?

Hi, I’m looking for information about the AC1 Leo Lightfoot of 21 Sqn during the spring 1940. I am especially interested in a confirmation of the nationality.
He is mentioned in the book Bristol Blenheim – A Complete Story by Graham Warner:
“14-05-1940 (Blenheim) P6890 21 Squadron: badly shot up in the target area; AC1 L. Lightfoot (Wop/Ag) injured, F/O J. Sarll crashlanded at Bodney, he and Sgt Jenning (Obs) slightly hurt, aircraft written off. For this action īPeterī Sarll was awarded a DFC, and AC1 Leo Lightfoot (New Zealand WOp/Ag, who claimed a 109) DFM.
I found this on the London Gazette 31 May 1940 and I assume it’s the same man.
“551530 Leading Aircraftman Lionel Harvey
LIGHTFOOT.
In May, 1940, this airman was the air
gunner of an aircraft engaged in bombing
operations against troops and armoured fighting
vehicles. After completing the task the
aircraft was attacked by a Messerschmitt 109,
and Leading Aircraftman Lightfoot was
wounded in the right shoulder and the gun
turret was damaged. In spite of this, he displayed
the greatest coolness and skill and
succeeded in bringing accurate fire to bear
on the enemy aircraft which was afterwards
seen to dive into the ground.”
He is not listed on the CWGC.

Thanks in advance
Peter
