Hi guys

Having just read Igor Kaberov's 'Swastika in the Gunsight', I wondered if anyone can provide the date when he and Major Myasnikov of 5 IAP-KBF were shot down by Yak-1s while flying Hurricanes. Myasnikov was killed.

This would have been early 1942. Which Yak unit was involved?
