Brian,

Yes I am quite sure there were three aircraft brought down in the New Forest following a raid on Southampton docks. HE111's at Boldre and Efford and an unidentified aircraft at Bolderwood. It is the details of this last aircraft that I am having trouble tracing. The Forestry Commision have records of a crash at that location on that date but have no further details.
