Re: Operation "Adler" in Norway 1943.

I can add the following:
Fi 156C-2 W.Nr. 4442 E5+KA belonged to the Flugbereitschaft Luftgaukommando Norwegen.
Fi 156C-3 SB+UY W.Nr. 5581 belonged to Fliegerkompanie/Ln.Rgt. 5
and finally Fi 156C-3 (W.Nr. not known) GB+XG came from Verbindungsstaffel 4.
On 24.3.43 Terboven was to lead an attack on Norwegian saboteurs reported in a mountain cabin at Rauhelleren. He was flown there in Storch SB+UY but during landing in snow on the lake Langesjoen, the plane nosed over. None onboard were injured, though the aircraft was a write-off.
Terboven was picked up by one of the remaing Storch's the following day. The accident lead to that the remaining two aircraft was equipped with ski undercarriage. Milder weather in early April, lead to the aircraft
being re-equipped with wheels. On 7. April, Storch E5+KA was damaged during a landing on a sports field near the township of Sauda.
