Further Information

"Serial Range L9170 - L9482. One of a batch of 220 Bristol Type 142M/L, Blenheim Mk.1V, built by Rootes Securities. L9170-9218; L9237-9273; L9294-9342; L9375-9422; L9446-9482. Up to L9273 were built as Mk.1s, then modified to Mk.1V standard. L9195-9203 were sold, ex-works, to Finland in January 1940. L9309; L9311; L9312; L9376; L9377; L9380; L9384 were sold to the RCAF in February 1940. L9325 was one of two 18 Sqdn Blenheims lost on this day on separate operations. See: L9185. Airborne 1200 from Watton. Lost without trace. All are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. P/O C.Light KIA Sgt A.E.Craig KIA Sgt G.Hawkins, DFM KIA "
