I think the photo you have id'ed as Helmut Wick is more likely Werner Machold. My first thought when I saw this is that it was 'Assi' Hahn. There is a very similar photo that has been published in the Eagles Editions book on this pilot, but I think that machine had Kdr. markings on it. Also the '2z' code is NJG 6.
