I presume you mean 11th Bombardment Group, 7th Air Force, USAAC?
You want to download "Air Force Combat Units WWII", which has some basic info on 11th BG.

Further detail on the four squadrons that made up 11th BG can be found in "Combat Squadrons of the Air Force WWII".

A monograph on the 11th BG is available from Turner Publishing. Pricy but worth it as it was your dad's unit.

You can save a few $ by getting it second hand.

You might also want to ask over on the 11th BG sub-forum of armyairforce.com. The real deal hangs out over there and you might even find someone how knew your dad.

But if you're really serious about it you'll want to get your fathers service records from the national archive. It's been awhile since I've dealt with that side of things, but if you're interested, I can at least point you in the right direction.
Good luck,
Tom
