In he night14./15. April 1945 Hptm. Hissbach attacked US-Troops in the era of Gelnhausen/Kinzig. After the first straffing (8 vehicels destroyed) hes was shoot up by AAA. His Ju 88 brunt and exploded by impact. He and his crew StFw. Warzechug and Uffz. Mayer KIA.
Is it possible to find out the AAA-Unit, that operated at that time in the Gelnhausen aera? Hissbach and Warzechug are burried at Gelnhausen Cemetary, Uffz. Mayer is still MIA.
