Re: 11 or 12 May 1940 2(F)./123 Do17

Hello,

There are several photos known of 4U+EK down at Mettet, Belgium, including one that recently sold on eBay to the sudek organization. This aircraft/crew is also written up by Arnaud Gillet in the first volume of his "French Victories" series. He reports the location as "3 KM NE of Fosses," which didn't come up on my mapquest search, but which I presume is near Mettet. Besides the location difference, the photos are of the same aircraft.

However, are any photos known to exist of the second aircraft mentioned by Pieter in his post, "Do-17P 4U+HK of 2.(F)/123" that landed at "SCHINNEN (gehucht ‘t ROOTH, Limburg, NL)" on May 11th. Does anyone know the condition of the aircraft?

Thanks for any assistance.
