Pensioners reported me that 8(?) airmen (british?,american?) were buried, (later recovered in 1945) at the community cemetery of the village Gunsleben.
Gunsleben is located 15km westward of Oschersleben.
They were victims of an allied air raid and after great aerial battles
in a day's evening (probably 19.30 hours MEZ) in mid-January 1944
their plane had crashed near Gunsleben.

Any knowledge to what plane this airmen could have belonged to ?
