Gefr. Josef Scharinger, KIA in April 1944?
I saw a so-called Death Card for an airman of Gefr. Josef Scharinger, born on Dec. 1, 1918, who was awarded with the Deutschen Kreuz in Gold, goldene Frontflugspange, Ehrenpokal für besondere Leistung im Luftkrieg, Afrikaband, etc. The card states that he was killed in April 1944. He is burried in Rumania. Unfortunately, no info on his units is given.

Does anyone know more about the circumstances of his death?
