Re: Bf 109 G-10 II./JG 52 White 11

I'm fairly sure of large wheels/wheel bulges and short tail wheel. I have the colour scheme as 74/75(faded)/76.

Some sources offer a 75/77/76 scheme, but many of the other aircraft at Neubiberg also appear in this "faded" scheme and the majority of published photos were taken some time after surrender (Aug-Sept 1945), so I'm sceptical - especially given the apparently (lack-of) quality of RLM 75 paint towards the end of the war and that these aircraft had been sat where they surrendered all summer.

The yellow cowl band is also commonly shown as around the middle of the cowl, but the photos I have don't appear to confirm this - I'm more inclined towards the band being at the front of the cowl (immediately behind spinner)

Hope this helps,
Chris
