Right! Shot down by Lt J E Carpenter Jr 79 FS/20 FG on ferrying flight near Avord (Carpenter disagrees-he says he got a Ju 290 but everything matches).Ofw Werner Neuenfeld-F, Ogefr Rudolf Pöschko-B, Ogefr Franz Comans-BF, Gefr Helmut Kappestein-BM, Ogefr Felix Wegner-BS, Uffz Hans Jacobsen-passenger, Uffz Franz Weinrein-passenger. All wounded apart from the last one. I contacted Comans & Kappestein and have photos etc
