Re: Interesting Ta 152 and Fw 190 D-9 picture

Hm... Strange to think about an airplane from 5./JG301... Especially since not any Ta 152 had been delivered to II./JG301 as far as we know...
Looks like if A.Urbanke unaware from the latest conclusion about JG 301 markings http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...=extraordinary and http://www.eagle-editions.com/dorabook.htm was lured by the horizontal bar and thus wrongly concluded as an airplane from II./JG301 and thus from 5./JG301?

To my eyes, this photo from German source show for the first time so well, an operational Ta 152 undoubtly from the Geschwaderstab as proved from it's blue horizontal bar (blue according to NASM restoration but green according to R.Cescotti memory inside latest J.Crandall book about Fw 190 Dora.)
White digit is, very probably, because the photo was taken shortly after transfer from III./JG301 to Geschwaderstab which occur on 13 March 1945 and was then not yet overpainted with a green digit.

Question: I never saw his flugbuch but could be Reschke "white 1" flown on 15 April 45 actually be this "white 7" ? It could be perhaps easy to miss-read between handmade 1 and 7 on the Flugbush?

Thanks for this unvaluable link John
