Feldwebel Gerhard Marburg of Strumstaffel 1 (Fw190) was credited for shooting down the B17. He is also credited shooting down (HSS- Herausschuss) of another B17 West of Zwolle.
Can anybody confirm that this second B17 was 42-30634 'Liberty Bell'.
Can somebody provide met with more details of the German attacks on the formations of the 3rd Bomb Division that day?
