OK guys - let's recap

The Walrus was L2316 lost on 24 April as noted by Alex.

As far as I am aware it was flying from Hatston on this occasion and not from HMS Southampton.

It FTR from a recce off Fair Isle and was believed to have been shot down by a Do18 reported (by whom?) to have been in the area. Could this have been the Do18 reported by Junker as having carried out an emergency landing following combat on 24th? More details please, Junker.

I note that two Do18s from 2/406 carried out emergency landings next day (25th) but this only confuses the issue!
