Re: V/KG-40 Losses on June 2,1943
This is covered in my 'Sea Eagles Vol 1'. Oblt Karl Overweg-St Kap 5/KG 30 was shot down; Uffz Willi Erkens of the same Staffel was interned at Stavanger and it is possible that Lt Fritz Koch of 4/KG 30 crashed on return. They were shot down by Oblt Lorenz Weber of 8/JG 77 21 Jul 40; the German pilot was also shot down and killed. The answer is therefore yes!
