I am trying to match this plane to a specific battle in the Pacific. From what I can tell, they were used between 1942-44 but I also read that they were not well received and pulled from front-line service by 1943?

So far, I have seen a picture of one that was used on the U.S.S. Biloxi. Also, what squadrons numbers were they assigned to?
