Was I./StG2 based anywhere near Ostende, Belgium during May-July, 1940?
Hello,
I'm trying to code for a data base a photo of a Stuka from 1./StG2, that has a note on the back that it was photographed the area of Ostende, Belgium. It appears to have nosed over on making a landing. I know the unit was based at Cologne at the beginning of the WC, and at Lannion at the beginning of the BoB, but was it ever based between those times at or near Ostende?
