By way of further clarification to what Robert has already said, I confirm that my source for the Puda claim on May 20, 1940, in The Battle of France Then & Now was indeed Gillet VCF Vol.2 p190. Given the available evidence it seemed a safe, logical, & likely conclusion to me. Thanks for your comments on the book, I am glad that you are enjoying it.
