Chris, Thanks for your response. As I said in my profile one of my hobbies is collecting autographs of aces. Last weekend I aquired a 3x5 of Herr Ille in his ME109, signed.The man who gave it to me and I could not find any information on him though we did not look too far. I am in the middle of moving so all of my books are packed up,so, I am just anxious to find out what I can about a new signature in my collection, rank ,awards, victories,where service was etc. I assure you my intentions are these, I am just a big fan of WW2 fighter aviation. Especially the Luftwaffe. Even if Gerhard is not an ace (I cannot find him on any weblist)he has an honorable place in my collection. I look forward to your response, Thanks!
