Tonight I've posted an expanded version of this
article on my website, adding two more pages of narrative, including several Bf 109
Werk Nummern from this unit and from 5.(F)/123.
The story now runs from 18 August – 5 October 1944.
The next thing I plan is to add a timeline relating the events in the story to the development of the war in Eastern France.
