Yes, the code should be SO, so the 145 Sqn. Evidently Mark I version. There is no Sky band on the fuselage then 1940 year. If you see the green unfolding and dry land itīs late spring / early summer.
I think the picture is about Operation Dynamo time. Maybe 27th May when Sqn was in fight with Bf 110s and lost four a/c but three pilots returned ?
