[Stephen Smith]

Does anyone out there have any information on the early RAF career of the above mentioned officer. In 1940 he was a L.A.C by the time of his death as commanding officer No.90 (B) Squadron he was a Wing Commander with a DFC.

Also looking for a photograph, spent 1 1/2 days at the I.W.M looking for photo's of No.218 Squadron crews / personalities, found 6.!! ( should have been a 5 Group Squadron !!!)

Any help or pointers appreciated.
