I agree with Nick and George, and the plate seems to be from the cooling system. From memory the manufacturer mentioned I believe specialised in radiators and the like. I don't believe that there would be any way of saying that this was from a particular aircraft.

Whatever, the plate is of interest as it is obviously from that type of aircraft anyway, maybe it would be worth trying to trace it's route from yourself back to where it came from!
