Yep, there have been several annoying hiccups in Schiffer books, but on average they have improved and e.g. the 190D and Reschke books were well done. And they do have well above average paper and binding quality, meaning longer life product. Recently prices have seen increases, but still the most ridiculous pricing is by Classic on those soft cover Jagdwaffe titles: as such books are likely to see plenty of reading, they should be in hardback as their binding feels so fragile and the spine is too likely to crack. To put the Jgadwaffes in perspective, softcover International Air Power Review has slightly lower price, at least equal binding, 100% greater page count, much better paper, more colour (I don“t care for colour as such but having so much colour means higher production costs). Proper price for the Jagdwaffe“s would be around £10 (instead of current £16 or so).
