Wilhelm Lemke and his Bf 109G-6
Hello,
I am working on a model of Bf 109G-6 "yellow 7" from 9./JG 3 (Hasegawa 1/32). It was Wilhelm Lemke's plane. This aircraft had distinguishingly marked nose part with black eyes on a yellow background. I don't like making a model without seeing any photos of a real plane and I started to look for any. I found only a photo which presents a rear part of that plane with "yellow 7", black bar of a third Gruppe and none kill markings on the tail. I've never seen any picture of the nose part with this unusual marking. If anybody could help and tell me where such photos have been published or send me scans only to my reference I would be very grateful to him. I know that the whole Lemke's Schwarm in summer 1944 had similar marked planes.
