I am in possesion of notes who were written on a missionary-calendar by someone living in the zieuwent area. It says:
januari 14, 1945: biggest airbattle ever, 8 a/c went down in the neigbourhood.
Stfw Wilhelm Scheschonka was buried in Doetinchem, now Ysselsteyn:CR-10-228.
