FAA Stat's
Can anyone answer the following questions that were raised in our local RAFA Club over the weekend?
  • How many Axis aircraft did the FAA destroy during WW.II
  • How many aces did the FAA produce?
  • What were the percentage losses of pilots/crews in the ETO in comparison to the Far East conflict?
  • Was the Firefly operationally worth it’s salt.

Lots of questions I’m afraid, the hot weather and a number of pints of real ale had us discussing the webfoot warriors at some length.
