Question Need help with Oblt. Alwin Meyer, III./ZG 1 > 5./ZG 26
Hi all!

I am trying to find oud a fate of Oblt. Alwin Meyer. He was a usual wingman of Fritz Stehle (while Stehle flew 2N+CD, Meyer flew 2N+DD), and flew with his with III./ZG 1 and 5./ZG 26.

I know he was wounded on 4 December 1942 when his aircraft crashed on take off. Then, on 11.12.43 with 5./ZG 26 he shot down B-17 over Waddenzee.

Did he survived the war? What was his final score?
