Thanks for the specifics. I'm interested in particluar about these "long noses' because John Godfrey (the subject of my reearch) wrote in his memoirs that the pilot with whom he tangled that day was the best he ever flew against. Their engagement ended with Godfrey breaking away from the stream of 20mm cannon fire and diving into the clouds.
