Simple, the "G-10/AS" denomination was never adopted neither officially nor in any unofficial piece of paper of the time. They were simply a few G-10s with DB 605 AS engines due to particular circumstances.
It is easy to do history in retrospect. The "G-10/AS" denomination was first used by Prien/Rodeike in an article fot the Flugzeug magazine in the late '70s (in reality identifying with it all the examples of the G-10 built by Erla in the 490xxx and 491xxx batches and devoid of the external characteristics then associated with a "real" G-10...) and was adopted since then, but was not an official or unofficial one of the Luftwaffe, so (especially considering what has been discovered since the late '90s about the details of "Erla" version of the G-10) it had better to remain well within brackets and confined to those fifty examples...
