Luftwaffe Penal/Disciplinary Units
I want to find some detailed information and photos of the Luftwaffe Strafbataillons.
I have attached an image of some insignia in my collection, from the Strafbataillion in Luftgau XI. Does anyone know anything about this unit? I have looked over the organzational chart on this site and the section dealing with Luftgay XI does not have annotation of the Penal Unit. How were they situated in the unit's organization?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
