Re: UNIT HISTORIES

I am obliged to point out that our book "Bomber Units of the Luftwaffe - A Reference Source" consists of unit histories. These typically run about 8 pages per Geschwader and describe all phases of their careers as well as who was in command of what and when. These are not as complete as the dedicated unit histories but they are (1) easy to use and (2) in English! For a thorough review of Volume 1 see:

http://stonebooks.com/archives/080330.shtml

Volume 1 covers Geschwader KG 1 through KG 60
Volume 2 covers Geschwader KG 66 to KG 753, then does the KGr. units, the ErgKG units, the LG units and various odd-ball units.

We are gratified (and amazed) to observe that our volumes rank among the best sellers of military aviation titles (according to Barnes and Noble as well as Amazon).

I hope this answers your question.
