Die Jagdfligerverbande der Deutschen LW 1934-45, Vol.6, #2 has a photo of his F-2 'Black 10' after being damaged in a Soviet bombing raid. There are at least 2 machines, both coded 'black 8', pictured in either version of Barbas' Lw Aces book that the author claims were Kittel's, though I think those identifications are incorrect.
