My uncle was also killed in a Lancaster over Germany. A few years ago I started to research this and began by contacting the Air Historical Branch RAF. They were extremely helpful and supplied me with several pages of information including details of the mission, crew and the post-war Report on the crash. This included a map showing location of aircraft crash site and place of crew burial.
