According to the 272 Sqn ORB, Beaufighter Ic "O" (P/O Robert Edmond C Deppe + Sgt James Mathew Carlin (obs)), and "V" (Sgt Yves Charles Tedesco (Belgium) + Sgt Blakeley (obs)) were each credited with a Do-18 between 1050 and 1545 in the Gulf of Sirte. No further details given, and no combat report has been located.
