Hi all,

one crew of 311 Sq reported on this day that they met a Whitley (probably for 19 Group) during the patrol and the crew of Whitley open fire on them from long distance. Fortunately they recognized their mistake and cease the fire before claiming any hit.
Wellington "F" of 311 was on patrol between 03.23 and 12.52.

I have checked the list of CC squadrons and find out that at the time there were 51, 58 77 and 502 Sqs with Whitleys.

Could anybody let me know if there were any patrols carried by this units on this date?
Is there anywhere any note about the "dogfight"? I suppose there was nothing to report but there could be similar note about "Being attacked by Wellington" in ORB.
