This run occurred “back in the day” (i.e., late 80s/early 90s) at an WW2 pilot symposium/art show/signing sponsored by Virginia Bader at the Champlain Fighter Museum in Mesa, AZ. The museum has since been disbanded, and this aircraft is now in Washington state. A number of German aces were there that night; I was too.
