Hi Bob,
As from Crash Report No 245-27/07/44, it was decided that " in future a monthly consolidated report on aircraft examined in this theater of war will issued, and that only those machines which are of special importance will be dealt with separately" so a lot are very vague, eg; (No Date) Me 109-G, Place, Vaux-sur-Seulles, Remarks, Burned out.
Not a lot on the fate of the pilot, or how he was downed, this is the info I need.
On another related subject, If there is anyone who is really into U.S. records on WW2, I would be greatful for some help, a PM would be great.
