Leo,

This is what I have so far
Oldenhof - crash location Klöpper - is WSW of Meppel

Crash location Bergkampen/Kadoelen is 1500 m to the East
of Klöpper location. - so also WSW of Meppel -

Location Brackhagen "unknown" so far .......got an idea
but have to verify this with a "crash" map.

Further Werke nr. are "slighty" different .... another format ?

Oberleutnant Heinrich Klöpper, Staffelkapitän of 7./JG 1, was killed 29th Nov 1943
This German fighter was shot down in a dogfight by 2 American P-38 - Lightnings -
came down near castle "de Oldenhof" - just outside Vollenhove - located WSW of Meppel
Same castle were 2 EVD's from the "Sleepy Lagoon" were hiding for 2 weeks in 1945
On the 10th of March 1984 they recovered parts of the plane and got certainty about the pilot's name

..........
see here the story - seven weeks earlier - of his 87th victim Capt. Frank D. Murphy
navigator on a B-17 Flying Fortress of the 100th Bomb Group
on a clear sunny autumn afternoon of October 10, 1943

...... Oberleutnant Heinrich Klöpper, then twenty-five years of age, was one of Germany’s top 100
scoring fighter pilot aces of WWII. Official German wartime records credit him with 94 aerial victories
He was a holder of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross and Golden Goblet when he shot us down
We were his 87th victim
Seven weeks later, on November 29, 1943, Oblt. Klöpper himself was killed
in a dogfight with two American P-38 fighter aircraft.
(For a perspective of Oblt Klöpper’s accomplishments,
the all time leading American air ace is Maj. Richard Bong who was
credited with shooting down 40 Japanese aircraft in the Pacific theatre in WWII) ......

Bergkampen / Kadoelen crash location is known to me and verified - 2 witnesses
Klöpper 94th claim was a P38 - near Hasselt S. of Meppel - time 14:15
Six P-38's were lost that day
The P-38 of 2nd Lt. Hascall - Belt Schutsloot - could be his "94" claim
Base ( Volkel or Leeuwarden ), time and crash locations has to be reviewed again !!!
