On 19 Jan.1942 Ju88A-5 (F6+PL w/nr 0440) of 3.(F)/122 was shot down by S/Ldr Tony Lovell of No.145 Sqdn, Catterick (Yorkshire, UK)) c. 20mls E of Whitby(Yorkshire). Anyone know the purpose of the Ju88's flight?
