Re: Norwegian pilots 331 sqdn

Alain
You will get more information from Knut Larsson's excellent site
http://www.rafandluftwaffe.info/

Claims
http://www.rafandluftwaffe.info/raf2.html

Casualty
http://www.rafandluftwaffe.info/raf1.html

I have just checked Ltn Fearnley who had several claims before being KIA on 25 Feb 1944 among these one shared with Danish pilot Kaj Birksted during the Dieppe landings, cf. combat report via my website
http://www.danishww2pilots.dk/victories.php?id=3

According to my references
1) Sgt Erik Adler Gundursen was Gundersen with an 'e' - he too had several claims
2) Sgt Eivind Tjensvoll - so did he
3) Sgt Per A Thulin - and he. About Thulin Meyer (in his history of the Norwegian Air Forces from 1973) tells that when mowing to RAF Fairwood Common on 14 Mar 1945 Thulin who had been in Bruxelles had managed to get hold of 60 bottles of champagne which was transported from the continent to England in tha ammunition compartment in the wings.

Hope to help.
