"Serial Range R3590 - R3919. One of a batch of 250 Bristol Type 142L, Blenheim Mk.1V built by Rootes Securities. R3590-3639; R3660-3709l R3730-3779; R3800-3849; R3870-3919. R3623; R3830 to Portugese Air Force, September 1943. R3877 to Free French Forces, August 1940. Airborne from Bodney. Crash-site not established. Last seen being chased by Me109s. P/O Saunders has no known grave and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. P/O W.A.Saunders KIA Sgt W.H.Eden PoW also initialled H.W.Eden Sgt C.Webb PoW. Sgt W.H.Eden on his 30th operation evaded until captured Jul40 near Doullens after spending 3 days in a rowing boat and interned in Camps L1/L6/357, PoW No.87. Sgt C.Webb was also captured with his comrade but was interned in Camps L1/L3/L6/357, PoW No.76. "

T1793-1832; T1848-1897; T1921-1960; T1985-2004; t2031-2080; T2112- 2141; T2161-2190; T2216-2255; T2273-2292; T2318-2357; T2381-2400; T2425-2444. T1855; T1857; T1867; T1875, T1935; T2077 T2079 were transferred to the Turkish Air Force. T1966 transferred to the Turkish Air Force. T2431 and T2434 were released to the Portugese Air Force, September 1943. Airborne from Wattisham to attack Lannion Airfield. Cause of loss and crash-site not established. F/L Humphreys who participated in the mass break-out from Stalag Luft 111, Sagan in March 1944 was re-captured and executed by the Gestapo 31Mar44. He is now buried in the Old Garrison Cemetery, Poznan, Poland. F/L E.S.Humphreys PoW (Executed) Sgt G.R.Griggs PoW Sgt L.F.Brand PoW F/L E.S.Humphreys was interned in Camps L1/L3, PoW No.406.
