SchObgfr Hubertus Schreiber was one of the unfortunate nine individuals of JG 108 that was killed on the ground during a massive bombing attack on Bad Vöslau airfield in Austria on April 12th, 1944.

The attack was highly successful from the Allied point of view and something like 54 aeroplanes were more or less totally destroyed and many more damaged on the ground
