Do24 Losses
The Do24 site describes how the crew of CM+IQ 7 Seenot were picked up by U83 on 15-6-1942, following damage to their aircraft, in the Mediterranean while on an ASR mission. On landing they found the crew of CH+EW were also picked up by another U-Boat, is their any record of this U-Boat. I could not find details of the loss of the two aircraft in Q.M's returns are they confirmed anywhere.
Q.M's returns dated 14-3-43 shows the loss of a Do24 of 6 Seenot with what looks like crew of Uffz Peiche, unfortunately I cannot read any of the details. Would appreciate if anyone has the loss details of this aircraft,
