Soviet Attack on LW in IX 1939? True or not?
I wonder if someone knows/heard about any kind of VVS RKKA air atacks done on LW's planes during September 1939 (probably 17-24 IX 1939?).
It could be done most probably by I-16 or less by I-15bis on any LW long reccon (most probably?).
There is small remark in gen. Kesserling's memories about such incident/s. (?). He did not write more about this, it is a pity, no data too.
