Re: Soviet Attack on LW in IX 1939? True or not?

Hi strange answer?!
There were 6 I-16s with RS-82 and 5 Soviet pilots (commander capt. Zvonariev). Planes were used in combat since the big Soviet offensive started on 20 August 1939 (they finaly had smashed Japan defence on Nomonhan - gen Zukov offensive. Plane did 85 combat mission 20.8-15.09.1939
It was top secret weapon and rockets were only used only agains air targets (Japan's planes), 13 claimes were obtained including on own bomber SB (?).

Sorry but my question was 100% different.
BTW on the Western border had come several of Soviet top aces from Nomonhan (one of them wa Gritzevietz who had been killed in landing on 16 IX 1939). They took of on 12 IX 39 from Nomonhan and soon were transfered (15/16 IX) on Polish-Soviet border. Among them were the first 2 Sovite HSU heros (Grizteviez + Kravchenko). Among the pilots were also the commander of air force from Nomonhan gen Smuschkievitz.

Kravchenko was one of unit commander, who had escorted these I-16s with the rackets in air combats in August-September 1939.

Regards,
mw

PS
I do not hear about Japna raports about RS-82, but of coure such should be written?
